Privacy Policy

Baham Therapeutic Services is committed to protecting your privacy. Information collected through this website, contact forms, scheduling requests, or other communications is used only to respond to inquiries, provide services, and comply with legal requirements. Personal information is never sold or shared except as permitted with a signed release form or required by law.

HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

Your protected health information (PHI) is kept confidential in accordance with federal and state privacy laws. We may use or disclose your information for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, and other purposes authorized by law. You have the right to access, request amendments to, and receive an accounting of disclosures of your health information.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Under federal law, clients who do not have insurance or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for counseling services before treatment and plan for the cost of care.

Telehealth Consent Information

Telehealth services are provided through secure, HIPAA-compliant technology. While telehealth offers convenience and accessibility, there are potential risks such as technical disruptions or limitations in assessment. By participating in telehealth services, clients acknowledge these risks and consent to receiving services remotely.

No Surprises Act Information

The No Surprises Act protects clients from unexpected medical bills. If you are uninsured or self-paying, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining anticipated service costs. If your final bill is substantially higher than the estimate, you may have additional rights under federal law.
